How do you change the oxygen sensor in a 2000 Chevy Metro?

Step by step instructions please, including where the thing is located. I thought it was under the hood but then I saw a picture and it looked like it was underneath the car. Thank you in advance!|||There are two on the vehicle. One is before the catalytic converter, just behind the AC compressor, this is the upstream O2 sensor, then there is another after the converter, this is the downstream O2 sensor. You need to know exactly which one you need to replace. A diagnostic check will tell you for sure. If you have a check engine or service engine soon lamp, an O2 sensor may not be the problem, it needs to be diagnosed by a reputable repair shop to know exactly why the lamp came on. The O2 sensor requires an O2 sensor removal tool from the local auto parts store, or a 7/8 inch wrench, if you can get the wrench to it. The upstream O2 sensor on your vehicle, behind the AC compressor, is a little hard to get to and probably will require the O2 sensor removal tool.
