Location & how to change O2 Oxygen sensors on Infinity I30 99?

Getting check engine light and idles up and down on a complete stop.|||I assume you%26#039;ve already gone somewhere to find out exactly what code is coming up for the Check Engine light to know for sure that it%26#039;s the O2 sensors and not something else tripping the Check Engine light? If not, Autozone and other autoparts stores can read the codes for free and tell you what%26#039;s wrong specifically to keep you from throwing unecessary parts (and money) at the problem.

If you%26#039;re sure it%26#039;s the O2 sensors, they should be located in front of and behind the catalytic converter in the exhaust piping. Most of the time they just unscrew from the exhaust pipe, you disconnect the wire going to them, and replace with the new sensor and reinstall.

You may have to disconnect the battery for ~15 minutes after installing the new sensors (to clear the Check Engine light)...or the light may just turn off by itself after the bad sensors are replaced and the car is re-started. If the light still stays on after replacing the sensors and disconnecting the battery, go back to Autozone and they can reset the light with the same tool they use to read the codes.

|||I am not sure if that would be o2sensor sounds like TPS( throttle position sensor) controls your idle, get the code check engine light diagnosed.
