There are 2 O2 sensors.

There's 1 O2 sensor before the catalytic converter if you follow the piping from the exhaust manifold to the catalytic converter, and 1 O2 sensor right after the catalytic converter in the exhaust piping.

The catalytic converter is mounted onto the exhaust manifold (exhaust flows from the manifold right to the converter) and then the rest of the exhaust piping comes out from the catalytic converter to the exhaust piping, muffler and resonator if you're looking from underneath the car.

There should be one on the exhaust manifold and another on the catalytic converter.
Ah, you trusted glorified burger flippers at Autozone for your diagnostic needs.

That's where you went wrong.
