Please give more information. What color smoke. Besides the lack of power, do you feel a mis or vibration. Will wait for update.
The oxygen sensor merely sends a signal to the computer to adjust fuel, it wouldn't make a vehicle smoke or stop smoking. Usually smoke is an indication you are burning oil. Value guides worn, oil rings worn. If you are into 'do it yourself', start with a compression check and see what numbers you are getting. Is it using oil?
if its blue smoke then its vacume or oil,but if its black, your burning rich.check your fuel pump regulator,it might be letting too much gas coming to your injectors.also check for vacume leaks, spray a little wd 40 around the intake and all hoses.
