ITS LIKE A PLUG N PLAY
Is a oxygen sensor hard to change?
Shiela, there is a specialized wrench to change the O2 sensor. It is a wrench that has an opening for the wires that attach to the sensor. I didn't have much luck with this wrench, so I bought crow's-foot wrenches and used a ratchet with one.

The sensors are in there pretty tight because of all of the heat they see. The hardest part for me was reaching the thing. After that, it was a matter of arm strength.

The new sensor should come with thread lube to prevent the sensor from welding itself (with rust) to the pipe.

The number of sensors is dependent on the number of catalytic converters you have. One converter, one sensor, etc.

Get a Haynes manual ($20) for your car. It will give you a procedure.
it isn't and your going to need wd-40 or penetrating fluid but it is really easy just breaking it free is the hard part and when you go to buy the part they let you know for sure on how many you need in your case it could be two if it is a four cylinder and for a eight cylinder four.
not hard at all just a plug
