Can not doing oil change on time ruin your oxygen sensor.?

I did my oil change after like 3000 miles over and now i am getting the

(p1167) engine check sign. I want to know is this happening because i didn't do oil change on time.
Can not doing oil change on time ruin your oxygen sensor.?
Unless you did serious damage to the engine (such as running it with no oil) there is no relation between the time between oil changes and the O2 sensor.
Can not doing oil change on time ruin your oxygen sensor.?
No,oil change has nothing to do with it.
they dont effect each other. oil changes have nothing to do with the exhaust
no oil and o2 sensors are not linked together whatsoever
You would have to skip oil changes for like 5 or 6 YEARS before the o2 sensor would be affected by the worn out rings, and resulting oil burning.
the o2 sensor failure is merely a coincidence, not at all related to the oil change.
yes you need to change your oil. that is why the check engine light is on no it does not effect you h2o sensor
