I need to change the oxygen sensor in a '99 Saturn SL, can someone tell me where to look for it?

The oxygen sensor needs to be changed so the car will pass inspection. All I need to know is where it may be located on a '99 Saturn and if there is a particular tool that will be needed to remove and replace it. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

It is located under hood, center, front engine area, mounted in exhaust manifold.

Most auto parts stores will have a special socket for these, here is one type: http://www.autozone.com/R,1861086/store,鈥?/a>

Here is a detail of a 1998 SL yours should be similar!

exhaust and any tol that wil fit it
its on your exhaust
Find your exhaust headers on your engine. Follow them down to the exhaust pipe. Most O2 sensors are located here where the fuel to exhaust mixture is the most concentrated. Some cars will have one before the catalytic converter and one after. I can't say for sure on your car.
Which one? There are two.

The first one practically reaches out and punches you in the face when you open the hood it is so obvious (hint, start at the cylinder head and work your way down the exhast manifold - about an inch and half). This is the one that usually fails in Saturns. The other is also in the exhaust as all O2 sensors are but under the car after the Catalytic Converter.
