Where is the oxygen sensor located in a 1991 300e 2.6, and how would I go about changing it?

any other parts on this car that commonly contribute to decreased gas mileage?

It's on the exhaust pipe near the engine,,,,to change it you disconnect the wire harness and put a wrench on it. Take a look at the air filter, it could be choked with dirt, and make sure the intake hoses and seals are all tight between the air filter box and the engine. It's also possible that you have a bad air mass sensor.

In the engine compartment, but you might need a sensor puller made in germany for about $[unknown], but you could write them in the fatherland and find out.
