What size sensor socket or wrench is needed to change the oxygen sensor on a 1997 chevy lumina 3.1L ?
Seven Eighths is the hex size. Special sockets are available for the job but in a pinch you can usually get by with a wrench. I have been known to cut the wire off and use a deep socket for extraction and then install new with an end wrench. Only in a pinch. :)
